Your own questions per service
Up to four questions per service, as free text, a number or a choice from a list.
The customer describes the job and sends photos. You get everything in one inbox and reply when it suits you. One fixed monthly price, and nothing per request.

With a quote system on your website, requests come straight to you with the details you need, and you pay nothing per contact.
How this works varies between services. We compare the principle here, not named companies.
You decide which questions each service has, so you get the details you need to price the job. Pick a trade to see an example.
Example questions. You decide which questions each service has, up to four per service.
Every request gets a status, from New to Won or Lost, so you always know where you stand.
The customer's answers to your questions, address, description, preferred timing and the photos all sit in one place. You don't have to dig through emails and messages to piece it together. That lets you price the job straight away and only call when you have something concrete to say. If the customer sent photos you see them in the request, and in the email you receive, so you can assess the job from your phone.
A fast reply is often what decides who gets the job. The email you receive has a button that opens a reply to the customer with all the details in front of you. You can reply straight from your phone, between two jobs. When you've replied you mark the request as Answered, so nothing is forgotten and you can see who is waiting for you.
By setting a status on each request — In progress, Answered, Won or Lost — you get a picture of how many turn into jobs. It helps you decide what to highlight on your website and which questions to add to the form.
The quote system is built into your Timvat website. You pay nothing extra for it.
Up to four questions per service, as free text, a number or a choice from a list.
The customer attaches up to six photos. You see them in the inbox and in the email.
New, In progress, Answered, Won or Lost. You always see where things stand.
You get all the details, the photos and a button to reply. The customer gets a confirmation. No commission, no lead fee.
The form lives on your address, so the customer sees your name.
Your services are described to search engines with Service schema.
The form shows in the visitor's language when the site has several languages.
Customers fill it in and take photos from their phone. You reply from there too.
You can use quote requests and time booking on the same website, so each customer gets the flow that suits the service.
A cleaning company, for example, can let customers book a fixed home-cleaning package directly, and ask for a quote on move-out cleaning, where the price depends on the home. Both flows live on the same site and land with you.
The quote system suits anyone who prices per job: tradespeople, cleaning, moving and building companies, and many more.
A roofing job can't be priced without knowing the roof type, area and condition. With your own questions in the form you get those details in the very first request, and photos of the roof often let you give a first estimate without driving out. Your site shows past jobs and your service area, and is built for searches like roofer in your town.
Electricians get both small and large requests, from a single socket to a new fuse box. Let the customer state the type of work and property and attach a photo of what's there now. You see straight away whether it's a job you can price remotely or needs a visit, and the customer doesn't have to explain the same thing twice.
For cleaning companies the quote is about area, type of cleaning and how often. A form that asks for exactly that lets you reply with a price straight away. If you have fixed packages, customers can book them online, while you also receive quote requests for move-out cleaning or larger jobs from the same site.
A move needs a lot of information: where it starts and ends, which floor, whether there's a lift and how much is being moved. With questions for that in the request and photos of the belongings, you get what you need to price it without a long phone interview. Requests are collected in one inbox where you see the status of each.
Painters usually price by area and number of rooms, and whether ceilings and trim are included. The customer fills that in and sends photos of the rooms, so you see their condition before giving a quote. The site can show before-and-after photos of past jobs, which is often what makes a customer get in touch.
Building and carpentry jobs vary a lot, so a free-text description and photos often matter most. You can add different services, for example bathroom, deck or extension, and give each service its own questions. Everything the customer submits lands together, so you can sort and reply in the right order.

Today you pay roughly €112 in lead cost for every job you win.
The comparison covers the cost of requests only. Timvat gives you requests from your own website, and how many you get depends on your visibility and your trade.

A quote system lets your customers describe a job and send it in as a structured request, so you can price it and reply with a quote. In Timvat the form sits on your own website, and every request is collected in an inbox with a status.
